In the early 1900's a
Manhattan based shoe company designed a shoe for basketball players. The shoe
was comfortable, light and easy to use. It did not have elaborate designs or
anything extra ordinary, yet it captured the hearts of millions around the
world. The chuck Taylor's design was launched in the 1930's, which became a
signature design to their already existing shoe.
It is primarily made of canvas and rubber. The shoe can be worn for a sport, casually with denims or anything else you fancy and even with a tuxedo, if you can carry it off well. The weight of the shoe may vary by design and size, but overall it does not exhaust the feet, no matter how long you wear them. The design makes it an all rounder; it is a slim, light weight, colorful shoe, which makes you stand out. You can wear them clean or dirty, either way they have a style statement and you will look stylish.
It is easy to maintain a pair of Converse shoes; you can wash them with hot or cold water and dry them. The shoe will dry within; as early as, 2 hours depending upon the weather and sun. It does not wear off easily and can take quite a bit of rough use. The sole is completely made of rubber and has a great design for grip. The shoe is good for summer and mild winter. It will not be the best option during snow, because the toe portion of the shoe is made of rubber on the outside and might not keep the toes warm. However, it is the perfect wear for all other seasons.

By this time the shoe had made itself a mainstream design inspiring many others to follow their design and pattern. A few did come and go but none of the companies made a mark like the 'Chucks'.
